01-14-2010 Mali Team Report

The Mali team is well on their way back to the airport in Dakar, Senegal.  They left about 8:30 this morning (their time) from Village “Y” only to have a flat tire in about 2.5 miles and then ANOTHER one after another mile or so!  Thankfully they were able to patch and remount those tires without too much delay.  However, they did not make it as far today as they had planned– only to Kedougou, Senegal.  They will leave early in the morning for a 10-12 hour drive back to Dakar.  Then they hope to get some rest for a few hours before their flight back to the USA in the middle of the night.  Please pray that they will have no more tire problems on the way back to Dakar so that they can rest and make it to the airport on time.  They will return to Texas on Saturday evening.  Thanks again for your prayers!
